Through the Adopt An Eagle program, you can help meet the following challenges, and help our athletes on their journey to becoming tomorrow's leaders.

  • The gift revenue from these Boosters will continue to allow us to build our Athletic Department Scholarship Endowment Fund

From club teams to league play, our King's Eagles have come a long way! King's now has six teams competing provincially at the college level. As our athletics programs grow, we encounter new challenges including extra expenses for:

  • Internal Athletic Department Scholarship: ($1,000 is awarded to each team’s coach to use for one athlete from either “Out of Province” or within Alberta)
  • Enhanced exhibition and non-conference travel/tournament fees
  • Team gear and equipment
  • Athletic training supplies per team

How does it work?

  • Each Eagle Athlete is responsible to raise funds to help cover some of the expenses their team encounters during the season.
  • Your contributions - which you may designate to a specific team - will help defray your chosen team's costs. However, the actual distribution of funds may be moved around to where each contribution will benefit every one of the King’s teams.
  • Make your cheque payable to "The King's University College" (Note: Adopt-An-Eagle Booster Club/& Designated Team name)
  • Receipts for tax purposes will be provided at year end.

    • The University College funds our athletic programs, but at times our athletes are required to pay out of pocket expenses.
